This is a little hodge podge of a section that lumps all the little bits of information from previous sites that can be of use to anyone irrespective of what path they walk.
I think its lovely ... but a little hilarious .. that the same things that once branded me as a tree hugging hippie are now so much a part of the mainstream. Growing my own garden ... composting ... and just plain being Earth Friendly ... are part and parcel of everyday life now.
The whole Celebrate section is full of lessons learned in both thirty odd years as a cook and from volunteering for a variety of community fundraisers... and of course my personal favourite .. the years that I helped with the feast at Avalon East.
There is nothing wrong with growing a garden just for looks. We can always use more beauty in the world. But if you are planning on Harvesting or need to know more about Keeping your harvest for use later, then you might find something useful in here.
